The NKY MLK Day of Service 2026 is looking for 10 dedicated Site Leaders to help guide volunteers at service project locations across Northern Kentucky. Site Leaders play a key role in welcoming participants, coordinating tasks, and ensuring a meaningful experience for all. Training and support will be provided.

Site Leader – NKY MLK Day of Service 2026
Role Overview:
Site Leaders are essential to the success of the NKY MLK Day of Service. Each leader will oversee a service project location, welcoming volunteers, providing direction, and serving as the main point of contact between the nonprofit partner and the event team.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the site early to check in with the nonprofit partner.
- Greet and orient volunteers as they arrive.
- Provide instructions, assign tasks, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain communication with the event coordinator throughout the day.
- Assist with taking attendance, photos, and collecting feedback forms.
- Ensure the project is completed within the 2–3 hour timeframe.
Time Commitment:
- Event Day: Monday, January 19, 2026, from approximately 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
- Pre-Event: Attend mandatory, in-person training/orientation session at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on Thursday, January 15th from 6:00-7:00pm.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and encourage volunteers of all ages.
- Passion for service and community impact.
